Le dijo Felipe: Ven y ve.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En el Evangelio de Juan leemos sobre muchos testimonios. Cada uno es un testigo. En el contexto literario parece haber una fuerte motivaci\u00f3n en la cual los testigos son llamados a contar su historia en conexi\u00f3n con Jes\u00fas para ayudar a esclarecer el tema del autor. Tal como vamos llegando al final del primer cap\u00edtulo, encontramos otro tipo de testigo: Nathanael.<\/p>\n<p>La primera reacci\u00f3n de Nathanael sobre lo que le comunica Felipe y los dem\u00e1s, de que hab\u00edan encontrado al Mes\u00edas, era algo decepcionante en 1:46 \u201c\u00bfAlgo bueno puede salir de Nazareth?\u201d, aunque Nazareth era un pueblito peque\u00f1o. Este hecho de acuerdo con las conclusiones arqueol\u00f3gicas, presumiblemente no ten\u00eda m\u00e1s de 150 habitantes. Estaba descrita por los Romanos como la ciudad de mayor poblaci\u00f3n jud\u00eda y a tan solo 30-45 minutos de distancia que serv\u00eda como centro administrativo- Tzipori (Sephoris). Jes\u00fas debi\u00f3 haber pasado all\u00ed sus a\u00f1os de infancia y juventud, acompa\u00f1ado por sus padres, residentes de Nazareth, en toda clase de asuntos relacionados con la vida diaria en la Palestina Romana.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, aparentemente no es lo que se lee sobre el porqu\u00e9 Nazareth ten\u00eda una evaluaci\u00f3n tan negativa (Juan 1:46). Aunque esto necesita ser considerado m\u00e1s adelante, es posible que lo peque\u00f1\u00edsimo incluso en medidas de la \u00e9poca del asentamiento de Nazareth, fuese conocida algo as\u00ed como un centro jud\u00edo afiliado a Galilea y por eso aquellos a quien no les gustaba los l\u00edderes actuales de aquel entonces en Jerusal\u00e9n (o simplemente de Jerusal\u00e9n en su totalidad), la afiliaci\u00f3n ideol\u00f3gica y jud\u00eda de Nazareth fuese claramente negativa y significaba que ellos eran verdaderamente los representantes regionales de Jerusal\u00e9n en Galilea. El nombre del pueblo probablemente, deriva del Hebreo\u00a0 Isa\u00ednico para \u201cla Rama\u201d (Netser) podr\u00eda apuntar en esta primera opci\u00f3n. De acuerdo con Lucas 4:16-30 los habitantes de Nazareth rechazaron radicalmente a Jes\u00fas, aunque esta fuese su \u201cciudad natal\u201d. Esto podr\u00eda ser considerado desde el punto de vista de que la villa junto con el pueblo de Can\u00e1 [1] era uno de los lugares considerados como sometidos al control religioso de Jerusal\u00e9n e influenciados por los \u201cHoi Ioudaioi\u201d tal como tratamos en la secci\u00f3n de comentarios previos.<\/p>\n<p>El Evangelio de Juan describe un cuadro \u201csoleado\u201d del gran recibimiento de Jes\u00fas en Galilea, y el rechazo en Judea. La mayor\u00eda de las veces que Jes\u00fas es aceptado sucede en Galilea, mientras que los rechazos son casi exclusivamente en conexi\u00f3n con la tierra de Judea. Es importante se\u00f1alar que en el Evangelio de Juan, otra importante historia del rechazo de Jes\u00fas no se menciona del todo. Por lo tanto es posible \u201cque los suyos no le recibieron\u201d (Juan 1: 11) y debe ser le\u00eddo en conexi\u00f3n con este gran rechazo de gran parte de Judea centralizado en Jerusal\u00e9n.
