Un vestido que le llegaba hasta los pies y un faj\u00edn, ambos eran ordenados para los sacerdotes del Tabern\u00e1culo de Mois\u00e9s (\u00c9xodo28). Adicionalmente leemos en Lev\u00edtico 16:3-4:<\/p>\n<p><sup>\u201c<\/sup>Entrar\u00e1 Aar\u00f3n en el santuario: con un becerro para expiaci\u00f3n, y un carnero para holocausto. Se vestir\u00e1 la <strong>t\u00fanica santa de lino<\/strong>, y sobre su cuerpo tendr\u00e1 <strong>calzoncillos de lino<\/strong>, y con la <strong>mitra de lino se cubrir\u00e1<\/strong>\u201d. (Son las vestiduras sagradas).<\/p>\n<p>En Apocalipsis 1: 13 leemos sobre el vestido que llega hasta los pies y un faj\u00edn, pero no leemos nada sobre un turbante blanco. Sin embargo, leemos en el vers\u00edculo 14 que su cabeza (y lo diferencia del cabello) es descrita como de lana blanca. Hay cierta similitud con el atav\u00edo del Sumo Sacerdote para el D\u00eda de la Expiaci\u00f3n durante el cual, a diferencia del vestido diario, el ropaje del Sumo Sacerdote era todo blanco. En controversias rab\u00ednicas que hubo tiempo despu\u00e9s sobre la funci\u00f3n de las vestimentas sacerdotales, leemos en el Talmud Babil\u00f3nico, Zavachim 88b:<\/p>\n<p>R: Inyanib Sason dijo tambi\u00e9n: \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 las secciones sobre los sacrificios y el vestido sacerdotal van unidos? \u00a0Para ense\u00f1arnos: as\u00ed como los sacrificios sirven como expiaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed es lo que hace el vestido sacerdotal. El cinto exp\u00eda las meditaciones (impuras) del coraz\u00f3n&#8230; El pectoral exp\u00eda la negligencia respecto a las leyes civiles&#8230; El ephod exp\u00eda la idolatr\u00eda&#8230; El vestido exp\u00eda la difamaci\u00f3n&#8230; el casco exp\u00eda la calumnia&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Esta referencia no puede ser tomada como informaci\u00f3n original ya que fue escrita mucho m\u00e1s tarde, a\u00fan as\u00ed muestra una trayectoria interpretativa general (tal como la mayor\u00eda de las cosas en el Talmud) que podr\u00edan ser rastreadas hasta los tiempos de Jes\u00fas y anteriores. Al menos una cosa est\u00e1 clara; los ropajes celestiales de Jes\u00fas son intencionales, de hecho son altamente simb\u00f3licos &#8211; \u00a0nos muestran que Jes\u00fas es el sacerdote celestial completamente preparado y calificado para llevar a cabo sus obligaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Otro simbolismo que viene a la mente \u00a0es la imagen de Jes\u00fas como la Palabra de Dios. En el culto jud\u00edo, los pergaminos b\u00edblicos est\u00e1n adornados y literalmente vestidos. En la Sinagoga, los pergaminos usualmente se guardan con un cobertor, el cual es un protector externo que los preserva de los elementos. En d\u00edas m\u00e1s recientes, los pergaminos est\u00e1n equipados (adornados) con coronas y remachados, llamados rimmonim (granadas). Tal como los sacerdotes llevan pectorales, as\u00ed los pergaminos de la Tor\u00e1h llevan pectorales. Ambos, la corona y el pectoral, son hechos t\u00edpicamente con metales preciosos y semipreciosos, y bajo el manto, los pergaminos llevan una especie de cinto que previene que los rollos se desenrollen.<\/p>\n<p>No hay raz\u00f3n para esperar una exacta correlaci\u00f3n entre los ropajes sacerdotales del Tabern\u00e1culo de Mois\u00e9s y los de Jes\u00fas. El sacerdocio de Jes\u00fas es decisivamente de un orden diferente (la orden de Melquisedec y no la orden de Aar\u00f3n).
