A Few Words About Me
Philo-logy–It’s all about love of the Word!
Yujin earned a bachelor’s degree in History at Wheaton College Illinois, where she also minored in Ancient Languages (Latin and Greek). Her first visit to the land of Israel was through the semester abroad program at Jerusalem University College, where she studied the physical setting of the Bible. There, she began to learn Hebrew, and her longing to study the Bible in its original language brought her back to Jerusalem for further Hebrew study. She has completed an M.A. in Bible and the Ancient Near East at Rothberg International School in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition to Biblical Hebrew, she has acquired other languages that are related to her fields of interest: Greek, Akkadian, Biblical Aramaic, and Modern Hebrew.
Yujin has been teaching Biblical Hebrew at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies since 2012.
